Q:I have gap to be filled that is about 3/4 inch deep by 3/4 inch wide. Is this product appropriate for this size gap. It is being used between my bulkhead and concrete foundation. I intend to use a waterproof sealant on top of the foam.

Q:Can I use this product inside my home to fill the space between my Pergo floor planks and the wall. the manufacture of the floor says to use 3/8 compressible PE foam backer rod with silicone sealant. This product says it is closed cell. Is it compressible

A: I think it would be fine. I wouldn't use the silicone but that's just my opinion. Both closed cell and open cell are 'compressible.'
