Q:Is this product for exterior doors and is there a similar product that's 1" high? I'd like to replace an outdoor shed threshold which is 2" x 4" pressure treated lumber. The 2" x 4" threshold is too high for the lawn tractor deck with the concrete ramp.

A: If you do not have a pin-nailer, the best option is to 'glue' the threshold down with DAP 230 sealant - which will also seal the perimeter to prevent leaks. We use DAP 230 (available from Home Depot) plus a pin nailer, to hold the threshold in place while the sealant cures. This typically takes 12 hours or so. DAP 230 is water soluble, so you can clean up the edges with a damp cloth.
I hope this is helpful.
