A: Hello Mowar, we are sorry to hear that you are having issues with installing the MSCL-OP153MH. The MSCL-OP153M is only capable of being installed one location of a 3-way application. You can install a MA-R for dimming from both locations or with a mechanical switch. Click the following link for the install guide: https://assets.lutron.com/a/documents/0301660.pdf

A: Hello Jason, thank you for your feedback. The Maestro LED+ Dimmer and Motion Sensor Switch does have the ability to have motion activated at its last-known light level; this programming feature can be found on page 8 of the following programming guide:

Q:How do I install this in a stairwell where both ends have the same feature such as motion sensing at least? Dimming only on the main unit? Is there a way I can wire 2 of them in parallel/series to function this way?

Answer This Question
A: Hello Electro, thank you for your inquiry. The MSCL-OP153M is only rated to have one sensor in a three-way application and your second location is either a companion dimmer (MA-R), https://assets.lutron.com/a/documents/368-4493_page_9.pdf or you can use a mechanical switch, https://assets.lutron.com/a/documents/368-4493_page_10.pdf.
Caseta Wireless does have wireless sensors that you can install in both locations and pair to an in-wall dimmer. Click on the following link for more information on Caseta Wireless products https://www.casetawireless.com/us/en.
