    A:  I assume the drill is cordless so I doubt it would work due to the amount of torque you need. I used a 1/2" drive corded drill on cedar which is a softer wood and it was still a task.

      A:  Possibly, if you have the extra handle on it. This bit has major kick-back, and WILL pull the drill right out of your hands if you are not ready for it. I imagine that the you will not get very many pins drilled with a battery powered drill, but it could work in a pinch.

              A:  Sticks and logs are all different. I mixup my own ideas and assemble from there . No plans come with this kit. I am finding it a bit hard to get a really good tenon with this tool. maybe others are having better luck . I give it a 2 out of 10.
