A:  Hello, For Lotos LT3500, it is not a pilot arc plasma cutter. You need to let the nozzle/tips connect with the metal you want to cut. So there is no standoff guide for LT3500. Thanks for your inquiry Regards Lotos Technology

A:  Our wire guards are designed for our plasma cutter machines LTP5000D, LTPDC2000D, LTP6000. They are the spacers/ stand off guard to measure distance from work piece metal from torch head for the pilot arc cutting function. Isolates the pilot arc plasma cutting torch from the target metal, protecting the torch head from thermal damages and extending the life of the consumables.
