A: Pumps are rated on a pump curve. It is a graph where you have gallons per minute on one axis and total dynamic head (height) on the other. You are indicating 300' which I assume to mean distance and not height. Distance has very little effect on flow relative to height. So to tell you what this will pump i really need to know the amount of height from start to where the system dumps in vertical feet. If you do mean 300' vertically as in pumping over a 30 story building, you need something much larger. Feel free to give me a call. Chris 978 651 3301

A: Having a sewage pumping system that works well and for a long time is not based on buying the "best pump". It is about matching the correctly sized and specified pump with the appropriate installation design. For example over sizing a pump can cause just as many problems as under sizing.
