    A:  Hello Harlan and thank you for your question. The Lithonia Lighting 13-Watt Full-Spiral Compact Fluorescent Light Bulbs are 4 pin and designed for use in a socket ballast. They cannot be used in a tube type fluorescent fixture. For dimming capability using this bulb, you will need a dimmable integrated lamp ballast. Best wishes on your project.
