A: I have 4 sets for resale. Where are you located?
A: I do not know the warranty but have been using this for 2 years stores easy and has always worked.
A: I had six in series with no problems. The concern would be how much the circuit breaker can handle. I ran a vacuum cleaner while the lights were on an the circuit breaker tripped.
A: Maximum of 8 sets total.
A: This model can handle up to 29 total ribbon lights.
A: I Am Sure...Ask At Home Depot,Hardware Store,Lighting Store And Google It...Good Luck!!!
A: We bought them last year and the only issue is you cannot make a clean curve (45 degree turn). There are many different types of clips to use, depends on the applications. Last small issue is the price. I feel they are somewhat overpriced.
A: Sorry I am not sure what you could use. I have installed ours under the shingles & on the gutters with the clips that come with the ribbon lights. I think you could nail the provided clips to the soffits as the clips will bend 90 degrees. You can curve & bend the ribbon lights slightly but NOT a 90 degree bend. Hope this helps. The lights are so pretty that we get lots of compliments
A: I bought “industrial strength “Velcro (comes in a role). Stick the loop side to the back of the light strip & the loop side to the wall.
A: Here is what I've found the easiest: I got 1/2" PVC to attach the ribbon lights to using zip ties. You can use something like broom clamps or cut 3/4" PVC (cut about 1/3 away) to make clamps for your 1/2" pvc that the lights are zipped to. Attach the clamps to your soffit (I leave the clamps up) then you simply pop your lighted pvc into the clamps on your soffit. The first year is the hardest because you gotta get the clamps up there but so worth it. To take down, just pop your lighted PVC out of their clamp. I take my ribbon light off the pvc every year but you would not have to if you have a proper place to store it. Here is a video that might explain it better: https://youtu.be/fCtGEUzvNqo Hope this helps, I've been using these lights for about 5 years now and found this works best.
A: They survived numerous rain and snow events. Note: I protected the extension cords and the initial connection with a plastic casing. The lights have a solid connection between sets that keeps the elements out. They never shorted out.
A: Hi, I Bought For Indoors...If It Does Not State In Description That They Were Water Proof...Google Water Proof Stripe Flexible Lights.
A: Yes they can be installed outside. They cannot be submerged into water, however light showers from rain should not affect your lights.
A: Yes, they are for outdoor use. I put them up for the Christmas season have had no problems with them. I live in Florida so we still get rain throughout the year and it does not affect them.
A: Waterproof, yes, buy not allowed in the pool.
A: Yes I used in winter and in snow with no problem connect easy
A: I believe they are, not like you would submerse them but I've had my set up lining my roof at Christmas for 7 years and I'm in Florida, they get rained on all the time. I attach the power box for each under the soffit so that part doesn't get as wet as the lights themselves but there is still moisture. I should think they'd be fine around a pool. My parents had them for years thru many snow storms/blizzards as well and they were just fine. I have 20 sets of these, my favorite hands down.
A: This product is for outdoor use.
A: I would have no fear of the physical lights around a pool, (yes they are waterproof. But, They still have to be plugged into an outlet. That would be my only concern regarding a pool.
A: No and that is a good thing as these are very bright LED lights and often move very quickly as they switch into different performances (I think there are about 8 different ones). If it were white lights I think it would be too busy and maybe too distracting for some locations.
A: I never saw them all white.
A: yes and red/ white combo
A: Yes.
A: no
A: I believe the lights coming in 8 ft length it might be 10 but I'm more sure that it's 8.
A: This light is 10 feet in length.
A: 18 ft
A: The lighting part is 9.5' but the strand is about 10.5' If not done thoughtfully, you end up with a 1' gap between connected strands but I just looped/gathered the ends that connected and tucked them carefully behind the fence and its nearly perfect for the 8 strands I have connected.
A: 9’. To cover a garage door, you may need three.
A: No no no..... This is one continuous string that cannot be cut, but you can add many to each - I have 8 strands connected along my home fence out front of my house. It is amazing to watch. I plan to eventually do my entire home in this and get rid of the traditional lights (even the newer LED). These are truly a light show in and of themselves. Everyone comments about them.
A: No
A: No you can't cut the light strip
A: No, this can not be cut.
A: No. They a electrical strips.
How can we help?
