    A:  No, this device is only monitoring intense spikes of increased voltage. It will not protect against sustained over/under-voltage events.

        Q:I would like to protect my refrigerator but it would be better to protect more in my home. We have many short black-outs (seconds only). Now my fridge computer is bad. I would like to protect more than my fridge without paying for one protector per line, if possible.

        A:  This device will protect everything wired to the same panel. You can install surge-protective receptacles/strips as well if you're concerned about certain appliances/circuits.
