Q:Has anyone attempted to add a deadbolt to the 36'' RH inswing door? I have the necessary tools, but I don't know much about the actual construction of the door. I have to say I'm a bit frustrated the manufacturer doesn't produce such a door.

A: Our doors are NOT Energy Star rated. The (R) Factor on our door is 2.21 and the (U) Factor is 0.45

Q:I see in this picture that the door comes with a frame. Is it attached to the frame or can I use it as a slab door and discard the frame if needed? We already have a frame bolted into place during construction.
