A:  If you register your Kube water filter at kubewater.com (sign up for an account), and subscribe to order water filters from them, you will receive a $10 discount on the filters. This is the best price I have found.

A:  Yes the replacement pack has both filters.

          by|Dec 14, 2020

A:  Yes. The cartridge pack comes with two cartridges. Take out the old cartridges from the main unit and install both of the new cartridges. It doesn’t matter which one to put on top as they are identical, hope this helps.

Q:How come no one says what the two filters are made of? I suspect one for taste and odors (carbon) and one for particles (sediment) like all the others, but it would sure be nice to know for sure. Activated or block carbon? Microns 5, 10, maybe 20? Please help...

A:  If you look the details are in the packaging and on the internet go to Kube on the net. As I worked for Years in the water purification of water in the Pharma industry, I am please with what the Kube does.

A:  A lot of science went into the creation of Kinetico's Kube filters, the filter is made up of many components including charcoal and carbon block. Kube is certified to filter Class I Particulates 0.5 to <1 Micron.

A:  My filters lasted almost a year. The tabs on the unit tell you when to change them. For me the cost is a bargain. Much better than the reverse osmosis that I use to have.

              by|Jul 16, 2019

A:  They are supposed to last at least 12 months

                by|May 21, 2019

A:  Probably not! The price is set on the manufacturing cost as well as demand for these filters. The fact that I had to order this filters suggests that the demand has decreased.

A:  Mine last 9-12 mos filtering my kitchen sink cold faucet, which is used for far more than just drinking water.

A:  Keep in mind, Kube is only connected to the cold-water line so it will only be filtering the cold water being used not the warm water. The filters last for 1,665 gallons of water – a household of 4 averages 9-12 months before needing a filter change (this, of course, depends on how much water you are using – regardless – Kube will let you know when it has filtered 1,665 gallons of water and it is time to change your filters!)

A:  Kube by Kinetico is still investigating ways to recycle the Kube Filters, in the meantime, Kube will take the used filters for holding until a recycle friendly process has come about…stay tuned!

A:  I had messaged Kube about a recycling/return program, and they stated they don’t have anything like that yet, but I suppose if you were to break the filter open, you could probably recycle the plastic components
