Q:I want to cut bolt seal. What size you recommend 24 or 30"?

A:  Either size can be used to cut bolt seals.       Q:Will the 11.25" version of this handle a small-medium padlock? And can you please provide an exact weight?

      A:  The Klein Tools model # 63118 Bolt Cutters are not designed for cutting padlocks. Cutting capacity for soft and medium materials up to 3/8” is up to Brinell 300, Rockwell C31. Cutting capacity for hard materials up to ¼” is up to Brinell 400, Rockwell C42. The bolt cutters weigh 3.65 lb.

            Q:I am interested in this tool but only if it is still USA made. The description says it is, but Klein recently offshored many of their bolt cutters. Can you verify that this is American made or not?
