A: Hi twee, We recommend running the mixer continuously for no more than 8-10 minutes at a time. Allow the unit to rest for 10 minutes.

A: Hi Arline, The Professional 600 Series is a bowl lift not a tilt head stand mixer.
by|Nov 26, 2019
A: No, it does not have a tilt-back head.

A: No tilt back on this model. Instead, the bowl is raised and lowered using an easy lever on the right side.
This unit holds the bowl in place MUCH more securely than the tilt-up models that rely on a screw-in base to hold the mixing bowl, in our experience. On this 6qt unit, the bowl is easier to remove too.

Answer This Question
A: It actually says on the box, 22 lbs. I have a weight lift limit of 20, so that is how I know.

A: Mixer itself is about 13lbs, with bowl about 15. It is a bit heavy if you are talking about lifting it from someplace. I keep on the counter and the weight and rubber feet make it a little more challenging to pull out than my previous Oster set. However, I love it and it is worth its weight.

A: Like 10 -12 lbs or so. Heavy enough not to fly off your counter when operating but light enough to move around if needed.

A: This is a heavy mixer mine also came in the wrong color.
