A:  Dear Valued HomeDepot Customer, We reached out to the MFG for more information and below is their response. "Yes, the solar disc uses rechargeable AA battery Bulb is a .24 watt LED."

A:  It is solar powered so eventually it would require a replacement rechargeable solar battery. The bulb is not replacable.
