Q:This says it has a built-in tile flange, but I do not see one. Does it indeed have a tile flange? I am wanting to install it in an alcove with a partial wall on the front side.

A: Hello Amber, my name is Kassi with Kohler Co. I'd be glad to answer your question. While the K-1115-0 does not have a built in tile flange, you can add the tiling-in bead K-1179-NA to it which then allows for a drop in bath to be used as an alcove installation. Thank you for choosing Kohler.

Q:Purchased the windward 6ft right hand tub, having a problem finding a brushed bronze or oil rubbed bronze drain set for this tub. Preferably want brass instead of plastic. Any help would be greatly appreciated

A: Yes you can tile around it and use Cement board tile backer board and water proof it. Make sure you understand how to do this so water does not get behind the tile flange. There are many videos on YouTube to watch. Take your pick at which method you want to use

A: We use this tub for both shower and bath, It works well for both. The only caution you may have is the entry side is a couple of inches higher than a normal tub.
