Q:No diverter is needed. Simply hot and cold, turn right tor on and volume. Turn left for less volume and off.

A:  Hi CBiii, this is Sarah with Kohler Customer Service. I'm glad to address your question. This valve is designed for a mixed water supply to enter and flow out; with volume adjustment. It is not designed to control one temperature. Doing so would be a modification to the product; we cannot guarantee function. Thank you for choosing Kohler.

    Q:I would like to have the following part numbers using the same model as above - Do you have a square/rectangular base on all those models? If you do include the model number - Same for temperature control and valve? - Do you have in one both and the valve? - Do you in one plate one for TEmperature control and one for volume/Valve? = Do you have in one plate a diverter only with the valve? - Do you have all in one plate, Temperature/volume +diverter? - Do you have the three in one plate TEmperature + another for volume + another diverter? In short, I want all the options ideally with a square plate for the same model (all with the valves) as above. I already have the vanity faucet. I cannot get into the whole purist collection on your web site.

    A:  Hi, this is Laura with Kohler Co. I am happy to assist you with your question. All Purist escutcheons are round. Here are trim kits and valve options for the Purist faucets: Purist stacked valve trim K-T14489 (thermostatic and volume control) and valve K-2973-KS-NA or K-2976-KS-NA. Purist thermostatic control trim K-T14488 and valve K-2972-KS-NA or K-2975-KS-NA. Purist volume control trim K-T14490 and valve K-2974-K-NA or K-2977-K-NA. Purist transfer/diverter valve trim K-T14491 and valve K-728 or K-737. Thank you for choosing Kohler.

        A:  re, my name is Jessica with Kohler Customer Service. I am happy to assist with your inquiry. I do apologize, K-T14490-3 would not be able to be installed with K-T14421-3. If you are wanting to use a volume control it is only compatible with a thermostatic valve. Our Rite temp valves allow you to turn the valve on/off and hot/cold all on the same handle.           A:  Hello Andrew. My name is Tiffany with Kohler Co. I am happy to answer the question about Purist volume trim. The T14490-3-* is only compatible with a volume control valve. The T1448-3-* is the handle for the thermostatic valve. Thank you for choosing KOHLER.

The handle is simply an on/off function. There is a Purist model T14501-4-CP which does have the diverter button. Please work with your local Home Depot for pricing and availability on this product.
