A:  I purchased ours about 3 years ago. It is a quality product. My wife uses it for hand shower just about every day has reported no issues. Yes, $149 is expensive. I don't think I paid quite that much. I can tell you after renovating our 1920s craftsman for the last 9 years that oil-rubbed-bronze is always 30%+ more than other finishes - on everything. Limited demand = higher prices. But even in brushed nickel I would expect to spend $50 for that hose. It is double swivel with good o-rings etc. I think its guts are brass. Kohler also guarantees for life.

A:  No, it does not come with a rubber washers to seal the connections on both ends.

Generally speaking, the French Gold and Polished Brass are very similar in tone. They are both shiny finishes. The Brushed Gold is not shiny, but rather, it is a brushed finish. A:  Hi Bill, this is Keisha with the Kohler Co. I would be more than happy to answer your question. Any of our handshowers will pair with our shower hoses. We do not have different sizes. Our shower hoses are 1/2" NPT thread. Thank you for choosing KOHLER.

A:  There are not different diameter hoses in the Mastershower hoses available here. There is another similar hose in polished chrome that is about one foot LONGER. You may see if there is a plumbing adapter or fitting that matches the different diameter dimensions you need to accommodate for your plumbing work to be a proper fit. I installed the Flipside shower head in matching polished chrome by Kohler along with this hose. I have had no problem using this nor has my family.

A:  Not sure if the hose diameters differ in size but the shower wand itself does. This hose was purchased to replace an older one of 10 years to fit on a new Moen dual shower head. Fit was perfect and works as original hose no issues two years since installed.
