A:  You can put them at any height. I think they suggest 40”.

A:  The handle doesn’t have any screws they back a stick-on backing. They can be placed at any height you choose.

You will want to use furring strips where the base meets the studs, then the wallboard goes over the integrated shower base flange and then the finished wall over that.
