Questions and Answers for KOHLER Whitehaven 5826 and 5827 Sink Bowl Rack in Stainless Steel

A:  This fits my Kohler Farm sink and the rack width is 14.5. x 25 ish. Seems this may be too wide for yours. I hope this helps.

A:  Kathy my sink bottom is 29"x14" and the rack is 29"x14" so your sink 26"x12 1/2" is too small for that rack.

A:  Yes! It works great! I have had this sink and rack for two years and the rack fits perfectly and saves so many scuffs from the bottom of your sink.

A:  Yes it will fit inside the sink, however this rack is made for a sink that is a 32 inches and the the K6489-0 is a 36 inch sized sink. So this particular rack will be somewhat undersized in the K6489-0. There is another rack that is made for the K6489-0 however I am not sure if Home Depot carries it or you need to go to Kohler directly. At the time I purchased my K6489-0, I think Home Depot was still carrying it.

A:  I purchased this rack and I love it, but my apron sink is 33inches (32.6). Usually Kohler will list what sinks are compatible with their racks. If you’re not sure I would suggest calling Kohler, or go on their website and look at the rack to check the measurements. Sorry I couldn’t be more help, the rack itself is great! Good luck!

A:  If your farmhouse sink fits is a 36" single bowl with an offset drain you will need the larger Kohler K-6488 and K-6489 Whitehaven sink bowl rack, Model# K-6639-ST.

A:  I found the correct sink rack using Kohler’s website specification sheet for the model sink I purchased at Home Depot. It lists all the available accessories by sink model. It appears that the sink rack K-5827 will not work for your sink, but K-6237 should.

A:  Sorry, I did purchase this for my Kohler Whitehaven 5826 apron sink and it fits perfectly but I do not have any information on Kohler Riverby 5871, as to whether it will fit or not.

A:  Hi, this is Laura with Kohler Co. I am happy to assist you with your question. The K-5827 sink measures 32-11/16" L x 21-9/16" W and the bottom basin racks K-6449-ST measure a total of 26-1/16" L x 14-11/16" W; this will fit quite nicely in the sink. Thank you for choosing KOHLER.

A:  The square piece is 14x14 but the L shaped piece adds another 11 inches (on the long side) which makes a total of 26 inches. Still short of the 32 but better.
