Q:I purchased this sink and it did not include the cutout template to install the sink using the trim ring .It is supposed to come with a cutout template which is missing and is needed to be able to cut out the opening and use the trim ring .

    A:  Hello, this is Keisha with Kohler Co. I am happy to address your question. 5950-4-0 is a sink that is discontinued and no longer being manufactured. It also is a tile-in sink. You would tile to the rim of the sink. Its not a drop-in sink. Thank you for choosing Kohler.

        Q:We have an older Kohler sink but it got a chip. We have a Formica counter top that has a trim ring that makes the sink fairly flush with the counter. Is this the sink that we would use? Is there a version of this sink with five holes instead of four? Any information would be greatly appreciated.

              Q:Can this sink be used with the metal or hudee ring and be installed with a quartz countertop? Would the weight of the sink be an issue with certain countertops? I have one of these sinks that I'd like to replace, but currently it is installed on a laminate countertop, but I'd like to get a new one and use quartz or something similar. Thank you.

                A:  Hi, this is Laura with Kohler Co. I am happy to assist you with your question. This Delafield sink requires a tile-in or metal surround installation. It is not compatible with an under-mount installation; installing as an under-mount sink may void the warranty. Thank you for choosing KOHLER.
