Depending on the drain you have selected to install with the sink, the stopper may be adjustable to open it more or less to allow better flow. The only additional component that may slow the draining, would be if there is any blockage in the plumbing or venting. A:  Thank you for your Inquiry. This particular item does not come any smaller. Kohler does make the 2827-0 that measures 16 3/8" X 15 5/8". The name of the sink is the Iron/Tones.

A:  Thank you for your inquiry. The faucet would have to clear a total of 2-11/16", as the bowl height is 1-11/16" and the faucet must provide a 1" air gap per the specs.
