A:  Yes what ever is visible on all sides is glazed.

A:  I would certainly think so. Just make sure your tile is set first and level. I installed a sink similar to this one on tile and it turned out great.

A:  Template should come with sink and show you exactly how much to cut out to allow for drain, basin and faucet..it basically sits on top of the countertop..
