A:  The width from front to back the sink is 19.75 inches, the length from left to right is 24.125 inches and the top to bottom depth is 9 inches. The inner bowl of the sink is 12 inches front to back and 17 inches side to side. If you look for the specifications tab on the product page, you'll see the dimensions.

The basin is 24-1/8 wide and 19-3/4 deep but the diagram will give you bowl depth, wall thickness, etc.

A:  The 2294 has a slightly larger outside dimension, 27 1/2", than the 2286 at 24 1/8", plus a couple other small dimension changes, but that's all the physical differences. The major difference is that the 2294 has a CSA Certification for it, where the 2286 does not have this CSA Certification for it. I can't find and specifications as to what this Certification means in the manufacture of the sink, but it must be significant, since it more than doubles the price to have it.
