            Q:What is the width of the threshold at the most narrow point? Is the threshold flat? Can a shower door be installed on the threshold? The shower door I am thinking about installing on this K-1490-X-0 tub requires at least 1" of flat threshold.

            A:  Hello Johnny, my name is Kassi with Kohler Co. I'd be glad to answer your question. A shower door would not be recommended on the K-1490-X-0 because of the rolled rim. There is not a flat spot to mount the shower door. Thank you for choosing Kohler.

This bath can be installed either as a drop in or under mount (using K-164-NA sold separately). It does not require a flange or screws as it cannot be installed in an alcove.
