To remove the handle of K-13491-4-CP, the plug button is needed to be removed to expose the set screw Once the set screw is removed, the handle is able to be unthreaded from the escutcheon. This can be done by hand (wearing a thicker rubber glove for friction) or with a strap wrench. Once the handle and skirt come off together, you can access the valve below.
