A: Hi, this is Lisa with Kohler Co. I am glad to answer your question. Kohler Co is a global company and manages manufacturing facilities in countries all over the world. Almost all Kohler products have multiple parts; each part has the ability to come from a different facility or vendor from around the world. Fixture products will feature a marking “Crafted in XXXX;” where XXXX is the country of origin, printed on the carton label below the UPC bar code. If the Fixture has no “Crafted in” notation, it is made in the United States. Faucets, drains, and accessories do not have the marking because the numerous components are sourced from various countries on various days, and tracking would be insurmountable. Thank you for choosing Kohler.

A: BENN, my name is Jessica with Kohler Customer Service. I am happy to assist with your inquiry. To remove the handle of K-13491-4-CP, the plug button is needed to be removed to expose the set screw Once the set screw is removed, the handle is able to be unthreaded from the escutcheon. Depending on date of manufacture, the valves would be either GP77005-RP/GP77006-RP or GP1092203/GP1092204: https://bit.ly/3uDMlov. Thank you for choosing Kohler.

Q:Any issues with the fairly short 4.5” reach? Seems like you would hit your hands on the sink when washing or be prone to splashing a lot of water.

A: Hi Dan, this is Sarah with Kohler Customer Service. I'm glad to answer your question. To remove the handle, hold the handle in position and turn the skirt below, counter clockwise. This can be done by hand (wearing a thicker rubber glove for friction) or with a strap wrench. Once the handle and skirt come off together, you can access the valve below. For additional assistance, please call us directly at 1-800-4KOHLER (M-F; 8am-5pm CST). Thank you for choosing Kohler.
