All Kohler faucets which deliver drinking water: bathroom faucets and kitchen faucets are classified as low lead and meet all state and federal laws. The specification sheet shows that the K-13490 passes the NSF/ANSI 61 and NSF/ANSI 372 codes/standards. Thank you for choosing Kohler.

        Q:Have a leak from faucet spout. I think it has to be a washer of one of the 2 handles. Please show me how to take apart & fix the leak. The Kohler model# is K-13490-4-CP.

Here is a link to the parts breakdown for your faucet: http://bit.do/efXrz New valves are needed to stop the leak. To access the valve, pop out the plug button on top of the handle, and remove the screw.                 Q:Does the lever behind the faucet that opens and closes the drain lift straight up or at an angle toward the wall? We have very little space between the wall and the faucet.
