Q:DOES A WALK IN TUB REQUIRE IT TO BE SET IN THE FLOOR?

A: Thank you for your inquiry. I do apologize, but this tub is not a "walk in tub". This is a drop in tub - which mainly means; you'd construct a deck or frame and drop the tub in that for the installation. I would recommend going onto the Kohler website (www.us.kohler.com) and download the installation instructions for this tub for further assistance.
