Q:I am wanting to verify the jaw capacity. The description for the the 7-1/4" pair shows to have a 1.25" jaw capacity and the description for the 10" pair shows 1.75." Surely the 12" pair would have a greater capacity. The description shows only 1.25" jaw capacity for the 12" pair. Is this accurate?

A: no it is much larger i would go on the Knipex site they will have the exact width i dont have mine with me or i would have checked it.

A: The actual jaw capacities are: 12''- 2 3/4'' 10''- 2'' 7 1/4''- 1 1/2''.

A: Hi and thank you for the question! 12" Cobra Water Pump Pliers have a jaw capacity of 2-3/4". The 10" Cobra Pliers have a 2" jaw capacity and the 7-1/4" Cobra Pliers have a 1-1/2" jaw capacity.
