The soap dispenser we currently offer with the smallest body that would pass through your granite, is model K-1893. Unfortunately, I am unsure if this will correctly install through your granite as the body measures exactly one inch. If the hole in your granite is exactly one inch, I would not recommend it. A:  yes, you have to secure it from underneath. This was not an easy task under my sink. I could only use one hand to get around the sink, so i had to use one hand to hold it and get the bolt on the screw. You can do it, just takes some patience.

A:  It has a long threaded bolt that gets secured from below. I also used some plumbers putty to prevent any leaks. I have had it installed for about 3 weeks. No leaks and looks great.

The hole cover comes with the cover,(it has a threaded screw underneath the cover), a flat plate that the screw threads through, and a wing nut for the end of the screw. It attaches securely over the whole, and is easy to install. A:  Yes, it locks under the sink with just a simple wing nut.

A:  Thank you for your Inquiry. The hole covers only come is Polished Chrome and Polished Brass for finishes, stainless is not one of them.. They also come in several Kohler "colors".

A:  Thank you for your inquiry. There is a bracket that slides over the threaded stem under the cover and a wing nut that is then screwed tightly to hold it in place.
