Q:My pipe is 4 inches in length from the wall. Will this spout fit without trimming my pipe? if not, is there one that fits a 4-inch long pipe?

A:  Hi Jmat, this is Sarah with Kohler Customer Service. I am glad to address your question. This bath spout will not work. The K-27406 bath spout can be used with a 4" pipe. Thank you for choosing Kohler.

    Q:I have a coupling near the wall. It extends out about an inch and a half before the 1/2 inch pipe starts. Will this work

      Q:I have a 1/2" pipe and this does not "slip-on" it? the opening on the spout is smaller than the pipe. What model # of this spout do I need to make that fit?

        Q:The description says slip-fit or NPT connection, so I ordered this spout. however, it only looks to be slip-fit. I cannot see how to remove/change anything to make it an NPT connection. There is nothing in the instructions on how to do this, only how to install it. How do I install this on to my threaded pipe ??

            A:  Thank you for your inquiry. No reason to change your plumbing. The important part is that you already understand you have a slip-fit connection and are in the process of purchasing the correct type of tub spout, as opposed to a spout with a threaded connection.

              A:  My pipe is not threaded and so I was able to install it myself. It’s all working as it should.
