Q:Will this keep my dogs off my lawn and flower beds? I have female dobermans and they pee on lawn and kill it.

    Answer This Question

A:  I would think not. When I put it around my flower beds, I noticed it attracts my own dogs to the flower beds more. I think it's because they're curious. I have male dogs so if something else scents there, it makes them want to go and Mark it as their own territory. It does, however, stop the rabbits from eating my plants!

A:  I haven't tried it with dogs, but I would say probably not.

      by|May 5, 2023

A:  No. My dog peed on every spot where it was applied in my yard.

      by|May 5, 2023

A:  Probably. I saw a cat start to enter my yard, but smelled the urine and turned away. It did solve the skunk under my deck, and kept the raccoons from my pond.

A:  I imagine it could. But if you have any outside cats or small dogs, you may lose them to a hungry fox.

A:  Yes. I use this product in my SUV engine to keep rats away. Around 3am one night, security camera captured a red tailed fox walking around the SUV and standing on his hind legs near the front fender smelling the engine.

A:  It could. I had one in yard at a time I was using it a few years ago. Been here 20yrs and never saw any other fox.

                      Answer This Question

A:  I doubt it. This only works for animals that are smaller than a fox. Rabbits, moles and squirrels. They smell the urine and think a predictor is there. Doesn't work for dogs either.

A:  I don't know about racoons, but we didn't find it effective in deterring whatever was eating our vegetables. It's possible if we had a gallon worth, but not using the recommended amounts.

A:  It should keep all small animals and rodents away from the area you used the product on. Any animal that can be "fox food" will stay clear of the area.

A:  This stuff smells. It is a deterrent to keep rabbits/etc from eating flowers. Do not put this in your house.

A:  You should use the coyote scent because it is a larger predator or even the wolf scent...still larger. Spray it around the yard in various places and it should have the desired effect.
