A: Measure the area to be covered, and add a little extra for errors or color matching. Each tile is one square foot.
If you are doing an accent stripe, these tiles can be easily cut horizontally by slicing the mesh that holds the pieces together. So for example, if you are looking at a 4" stripe, each square foot tile will make 3 feet of stripe (12" / 4" = 3 lengths of one foot each.).

A: Use a wet tile saw, and fill in the voids at the end with cut pieces. You should stone the cut pieces, to smooth down the sharp edges that will result from cutting this piece.

Q:I went to the Home Depot today but did not see this particular tile choice. Is it possible for you to send me one 12 x12 x8 piece so that I may tape against my wall to determine if that particular piece of tile is the one that I would like to have on the wall. I just want to look at it on the wall for a few days before I make my choice. I am willing to pay for this piece of tile as well. Thank you for your time

A: Unfortunately, there are not any trim pieces for this mosaic per se. Schlutter makes trim pieces in metals, and other materials that many people use in this situation.
