Q:What size are the individual pieces?
- I want to cut it up and use in in different areas by size, so I need to know this before I can order.

A: they are solid pieces (12"by 12" ) They look like mosaic but they are not....however I believe they can be cut but I would call homedepot and them if you can cut them and what you could cut them with. Mine are on the bathroom floor.

A: These are made of a stone, could be slate, they are heavy and uneven on topside like stone would be, color variations like stone would be. Don't know where they are made.

A: The tiles vary quite a bit from a 1/4” to nearly a 1/2” but usually no thicker than 3/8”.

A: these were between i would say 1/4" and 1/2", some were thicker than others. because they are not consistent your grout underneath needs to be adjusted to make them even and grouting in between was a challenge as well, a trowel, your fingers and a sponge or cloth is necessary, but it's a slow process to get into all the grout areas.
