A:  These are not soundproof, and honestly you really should have ventilating doors anyway, you don't want heat building up behind the doors, if your furnace is next to the washer/dryer then you must have ventilated doors

While you may choose to trim your door, please note that requests for warranty services could be denied depending on the circumstances affecting product performance. A:  Yes but not easily. Unless you are a skilled carpenter I wouldn’t suggest it.

A:  Probably not. There is a thin frame of real wood holding the composite wood together. I had to do some work on the door when I cut a 1/2” off the bottom because what was left of the door wouldn’t hold the hardware.

A:  You can trim the doors but you should really take a quarter of an inch off of each door. you have to be careful of the holes for the hardware on the top and bottom
