A:  Thank you for your interest. This v2500 vinyl fixed picture window installs in a new construction framed rough opening that measures 36 inches wide by 36 inches height. It is not recommended to install this window in extremely wet areas such as showers especially if the window is expected to be in the direct stream of water. Additionally, in wet-areas there are typically building codes that require glass to be made to some safety certification standards (ie tempered or laminated). This window does not feature glass that has any safety certifications. If you are in need of a window with such safety or certification standards, please consider visiting a Home Depot store near you. In the store, a millwork associate may quote and order what you need using the in-store special order electronic catalog.
