Q:Can this window be installed in a roof as a skylight? Can it endure the harsher weather (e.g. hail)?

A:  Thank you for your inquiry. This window is designed, tested and certified to be installed vertically, in a wall. It has a drainage system to evacuate water that won't function properly if it's not installed vertically. It has not been tested structurally for a non-vertical installation.

        A:  Thank you for your inquiry. This unit does not open to a 90 degree angle. You may find what you are looking for in a casement unit, but you may have to add maximum opening hardware to it to get the full opening effect. Hope this helps.
