A:  Absolutely NOT! I had a previous Jeld-Wen prehung 30 x 80 hollow core. My bright idea was to replace it years later with this door. They only sell the 30” size, and not 29 3/4”. The person at Home Depot said it would because it is a standard size. Like a 2x4 not really being 2”x4”. That statement is totally WRONG! After you’ve paid, waited a month and a half, tried to install only to find out you’ve been duped, the store is happy to tell you its a special order so you’re on your own to rip out everything and start over to make the opening wide enough. If I can stop one person from making this mistake that would be perfect.

When JELD-WEN makes a double interior door unit with the call size being 36 inches X 80 inches the overall frame size would need to be 38.25 inches X 81.6875 inches.
