Q:I already have an insinkerstor that dispenses hot water only. I have a separate faucet for filtered water. Can I just buy this Faucet if I want the two to connect to one faucet or do I have to buy a whole unit all over again?

A:  Hi Soli, thanks for your question. You can just buy the Hot and Cold Indulge faucet and still use your existing tank. Both hot and cold will also be filtered if you connect your filtration system to it. I hope this helps.

      Q:I just had the faucet replaced on this model. The old version allowed the cold handle to function if you pulled it forward or pushed it backwards. The new one (just installed) doesn?t work if you pull the cold forward. Is this broken or how it functions?

      A:  Hi douglux, thanks for reaching out! The faucet handles are meant to be pushed back. If pulled forward, it may dispense water, but will have poor flow or make noise as the valve is not being fully opened.

        Q:I have an older Insinkerator model which includes the tank and faucet (H-990W-5) new in the box, never used. Can I use the water tank that I already have with this new Indulge Contemporary faucet?

        A:  Hi Sandy, thanks for reaching out! The tank on model H-990W-5 is not compatible with our current faucets because the inlet port on the old tank is different. You'll need to pair it with newer tank models like the HWT-F1000S (with filtration system), or the HWT-00 (tank only).

          Q:InSinkErator Please help >We have the InSinkErator 2-handle faucet. It is now leaking at base of hot water handle and dripping at the faucet. Any solution or must we spend $475. on an entirely new fixture? Faucet is 5 yrs old.

          A:  If you have hard water, it's likely there is calcium build inside the valve. There are no gaskets inside. The levers come out the top by carefully unscrewing the beauty ring. Mine was 10 years only when it failed so I bouth a new one. Then figures out how to disassemble it.
