A:  Yes, InSinkErator has two replacement filters available, the F-201R and the F-601R. The F-201R reduces chlorine taste and odor. The F-601 reduces chlorine taste and odor as well as lead, mercury, cysts and chemicals. Both filters are available online at Home Depot.com or by calling InSinkErator at 1-800-558-5700.

I ran your question by our engineering department and they confirmed that there should be no issue with using this filter with an ice maker/refrigerator. However, each ice maker/refrigerator may have a different filter location and installation process. It would be a good idea to check with a Home Depot kitchen expert in the store to be sure it’s compatible with your fridge model before you purchase. Good luck with your project!
