A:  I bought this model because it was smaller they the previous 3/4 hp. unit it replaced. All other fittings are the same as other standard unit. I'm from New Orleans so don't know status of PA stores.

In terms of the plumbing requirements, the models Evolution Select Plus and Evolution Essential XTR are a bit smaller compared to your current disposer. The direct replacement of your disposer is the Evolution Compact model or the Evolution Select of Home Depot. Regarding your inquiry about the types of our disposers, a continuous-feed disposer requires an on/off switch while a batch-feed disposer has its own stopper that operates the unit. A:  What's the question?

A:  I have never measured it but I sure it's not 1". It fits the standard discharge hose that comes with a dishwasher and is secured with a clamp.

A:  The disposer has a six year warranty. It is stated in the installation instructions that came with unit.. The warranty repair # is 1-800-558-5700. Usually you hear a hum when the disposer is turned on if it is jamed. Use the Jam-Buster wrench to clear the jam or a broom stick in the top of the disposer to break the jam..
