A:  Gabri, Its hard to answer this question as all door applications are different. You could have a local handyman or contractor take a look and let you know what it would entail. We have a lot of great videos on our website (www.CustomDoorandMirror.com) on how to install our doors once the opening is ready but its hard to give you advice on how to remove your old doors. If you want to reach out to us at Sales@CustomDoorandMirror.com or 631-414-7725 we can see if you can send us some photos of your opening and we might be able to give you a little better advice.

A:  Andrew, Yes and many folks choose to do just that. We have a great video at www.CustomDoorandMIrror.com that shows the different applications for different floor types. Just remember that the height of the Oak saddle is just about 5/8" so that you will have a little extra gap at the bottom. Thank you.

A:  Devin, Yes it is supplied with a pull handle that mounts from the back of the panels. If you choose to purchase your own decorative handles you certainly can but you dont have to. Thank you.

A:  Although we dont recommend it, you can cut the height and would be cheaper option than a custom door. Just make sure whomever does it is skilled and has the right tools. You will need to remove, cut, recreate the hardware preps with a drill bit, and replace the hardware on the top edges. Reminder too that this will void any warranties. A:  Jessica, we would not recommend this as the additional weight would possibly create an imbalance and the doors may not operate properly and even possibly fail due to the added weight. Thank you.

A:  jack, Yes this is a real wood Maple veneer over an 3/4" MDF core so its ready to stain any color you like. Thank you.

A:  CraigK, The door is adjustable to your height and but you will be dealing with an extra gap on the top and the bottom that you will need to distribute evenly. I am assuming you will be using the jamb bracket? Smooth Flush Solid Core Stain Grade Maple MDF Interior Closet Bi-Fold Door with Matching Trim. As these doors are not recommended as a pass through due to the back being unfinished with exposed hardware , the sound dampening would be minimal .
