    A:  mike, Bifolds are designed to fold out. The hardware is exposed on the back. You certainly could install it backwards so it opens in if you can live with looking at the hinges and the hardware and you will need to figure out a way to pull it back to closed. I hope this helps. Thank you.

      Q:Same as Dalton: Have an opening 102x96 for 8 panels. What is the minimum distance between the two sets of four doors to allow each side to open individually to full opposed bi-fold clearance. The picture allows opposing bifold opening in the middle only.

      A:  Milan, each set needs between 1/16 - 1/8" in a 4 panel setup abd 1/4-5/16" on each edge. Yes there is some clearance required in the middle panels. Im not sure if this amswers your questions but please reach out to Sales@CustomDoorandMirror.com if you have additional technical questions.

        Q:We have a 120” finish opening in our bedroom for the closet. So we would have to get the 8 panel. But we do not want a post going down in the middle ( for easy access to drawers) can you show me a picture or video of how the 120” long 8 panel would open?

          Q:My 59 x80 doors arrived but the door height is only 76.5. Including the trim that arrived with the package, I would still be two inches short. Is this expected?

          A:  KK120. Yes. We clearly state the actual door panel size in our details. The reason for this is that the top and bottom hardware and reveals(spaces) take up the remaining 3.5" of your opening. Please reach out to Sales@CustomDoorandMirror.com if you have additional questions.

            A:  erik, If I'm understanding what you are asking, the door will protrude out into the room approx. 16" when fully open and the door will take up approx 5.5" of space on the side when fully open.
