Q:Installation: Do we need to flush with sheet rock(outside) or inside? Bottem rail: what would be height of opening if we need to cut carpet. Missing instructions, creating lot of work

A:  Ranjit, Follow attached link to our website for a copy of our instructions. https://www.customdoorandmirror.com/assets/resources/upload/door-installation-instructions.pdf Short answer is yes the top track should be flush with the drywall and the bottom is set back slightly so that doors line up plumb.     Q:How does the bottom track get installed when carpet is on the floor, over the carpet, or cut out the carpet, or install new carpet up to the track and behind it in the closet?

      Q:What color is the track on the Expresso color doors? And are these doors completely finished in the color I select or do I have to stain/sand/seal them?

      A:  Dear snslouis, This unit has a matching fascia track, meaning the front of the track (visible portion) is the exact same color as the door. Just a reminder, the bottom track will be chrome. These are completely prefinished so you will not have any additional prep or steps to finish once they are installed.

        Q:I?m interested in this product but since I?m also replacing the carpet with loose lay tile, how would the bottom bracket be installed? Should the MDF board that was under the carpet that the old bottom track sat on repair there?

        A:  Pete, If I'm understanding your question, you would place the track directly on top of the new tile and secure it with an adhesive (recommended) or appropriate screws. Just make sure that the finished opening remains similar as the tile might be a different height than your old carpet. If this is the case you might need to replace that piece you have to act as a spacer. Please reach out to Sales@CustomDoorandMirror.com if you have additional questions
