A:  They would not protrude 24 because the pivot point is an inch from the end of the panel, and they also are not mounted flush to the wall. My estimate is they will protrude about 22-23 .

A:  Dennis. They will protrude approx 24" into the room on each end when the door is fully open. This unit is made up in 4 panels. Each panel is approx 24" wide. I hope this helps. Thanks for your question.

A:  CJ, The actual widis approx 23 3/8" Really snug is not good for our doors as they need space to pivot. That additional space is required for the door to pivot properly. If there isn't at least 3/16" of an inch on each side of the door it will hit the wall when it operates and possibly break. We can make you a custom size. A:  MaryH, Our doors run on wheels on a bottom track and are held in place at the top with guides that sit up in the track. Our doors must have the bottom track to operate. Thank you.
