In order to change the light bulb in this fan, remove the glass shade by turning counter-clockwise. This will allow the shade to be "un-locked" from the dimple fitters inside the fan.
To replace the shade, simply turn clock-wise until it re-attaches to the dimples.
This fixture uses a JD-type, E11, mini candelabra base bulb, with a maximum wattage of 40.
