A:  Yes it will work, the hardest part would be the cutting of the opening. I has it's own frame that will seal off the gap between the inner and outer door panels. I installed the doggie door in the patio screen door, just had to add two upright aluminum struts and install the door between them and install the screen each side. I wipe it with dish soap as the oils from the dogs fur builds up after use.

A:  I believe it would work on both as long as the door is the proper thicknesses and you have the proper tools tools to fabricate the door opening as per instructions.

A:  Bought the Large 15x20 in door it is sturdy and holds up to my 95 lb Great Pyrenees/Coonhound mix pup. The aluminum is much stronger and durable than the plastic doors I have tried before.

A:  The lock out panel is a hard plastic slide out panel with a pinch lock on the top. The panel completely removes , you will need a place to locate the panel when not in use.

A:  The panel slides into place for a secure fit.

A:  HomeDepot products and prices are fine. Their customer service is very lax. I have no way of knowing what they have in stock, you will have to ask them. Sorry.

A:  The animal lock out slide goes on the inside of the house.

A:  Yes the plastic locking slide-in door goes on the inside. We've had this product a couple of years and it works great!
