Answer This Question

A:  Hi PaulT they are rated for underground which will get wet but will also dry out over time. These are not rated for being submerged for long periods of time. I am sure you can use them just not sure how long the connection will last hope that helps Ron at ron.kipper@idealindustries.com

A:  Hi Frank yes look for the IDEAL 46-400 or 46-410 they are designed for that. The 46-410 includes a strecher that helps make up any loss of cable from cutting it. Good luck Ron at ron.kipper@idealindustries.com

A:  JKT I would tell you to check with your local code people. I am not sure they will let you splice the cable. These are designed for outside underground applications. Good luck Ron at ron.kipper@idealindustries.com
