Answer This Question
A: You can use it as a stand alone alarm. It has a built-in alarm that will last for 30 seconds when triggered. Or you can link it to a dialer or an alert. The dialer will use your home landline to call any phone number you programmed into when triggered by the linked sensors. The alert will sound for 10 seconds. Answer This Question
A: The SK640 power failure sensor will send a wireless signal to the SK618 dialer once the AC power fails. And the SK618 will dial out pre-programmed phone numbers powered by its backup batteries. This solution makes sense because most of the wifi routers/hubs don't have power backup when AC power fails.
