A: No, the SK605 will chime two times and OFF. It will not chime if door is still open. Close the door to reset the sensor. Reopen the door will trigger the sensor to chime. If the SK605 is set to alarm mode, the alarm will sound for 30 seconds non-stop with door remain open or close immediately after. Close the door to reset the sensor.

A: The sensor main unit can be hooked on a screw. The magnet and the sensor have holes, and they can be screwed on door & frame.
