Q:The cap screws off in a quirky manner. I believe, the cap is not unscrewing the entire battery compartment so that the compartment cannot be accessed to change the batteries. Any suggestions?

          Answer This Question

A:  I did find that the cap screwed off a bit awkwardly; but, if you hold the cap flat against the light, it should screw on and off once you get the fee.

A:  Once you unscrew the end cap, you will need to remove the safety retaining ring that holds the batteries in the compartment. This can be done by inserting a flat edged tool (we suggest a flat headed screw driver), and lifting the inner edge up. This process will allow you to access the batteries for replacement.
